How to use the 100xsale dashboard: from signup to live website agent
A practical walkthrough of the real 100xsale dashboard — workspace navigation, creating an agent, training knowledge from your website, PDFs and text, testing in Playground, customizing the website widget, and working leads and conversations.
100xsale is controlled from one dashboard. This guide follows the actual product path: sign up, create an AI sales agent, connect business knowledge, validate answers in the Playground, embed the website widget, then manage leads and conversations as customers talk to your agent.
01
Sign up and understand the workspace
Open the 100xsale app and create an account (email signup or sign-in). After verification you land in your workspace — the shared home for agents, usage, plans, and team members.
The left navigation mirrors how the product is organized. Workspace-level items sit at the top and bottom; agent-level tools appear once you open a specific agent.
- Analytics — conversation and performance overview for the workspace
- Agents — list of AI sales agents; create or open one
- Usages — conversation and capacity usage against your plan
- Plans — view or change subscription (Starter, Growth, Scale, Enterprise)
- Settings → Workspace — name and workspace details
- Settings → Billing — plan and payment
- Settings → Members — invite teammates to the same workspace
02
Create an agent
Go to Agents and choose create agent. The first step is identity: give the agent a clear name your team will recognize (for example “Website sales agent” or “Store assistant”).
After the agent is created you move into knowledge setup. You do not need a finished website rebuild — you connect the information the agent is allowed to use, then train it.
03
Connect business knowledge
Knowledge is what makes the agent business-aware instead of generic. During create-agent (and later under the agent’s Settings) you can add sources in three ways.
- Website / domain URL — submit your site; 100xsale discovers pages on the domain
- Custom text — paste FAQs, policies, product notes, or internal guidance with an optional title
- PDF documents — upload PDF files for parsing and training
04
Review discovered pages and finish training
If you add a website, domain discovery runs next. You review discovered URL groups and individual pages, then select what the agent should learn from. You do not have to train every page — choose the product, policy, and FAQ content that answers real buyer questions.
Training status moves from in progress to ready (or failed if a source needs attention). Wait until knowledge is ready before you treat answers as production-quality. Under agent Settings you can retrain URLs, add more domains, text, or PDFs, and remove outdated sources when products or policies change.
05
Test answers in the Playground
Open the agent and go to Playground. This is a private chat with the same agent before customers see it on your site.
Ask the questions your buyers actually ask: availability, pricing ranges, delivery, returns, opening hours, product differences. If answers are thin or wrong, return to Settings, improve the knowledge sources, retrain, and test again. Playground conversations are labeled as playground in Conversations so you can tell them apart from live website chats.
06
Customize and embed the website widget
When answers look solid, open Integrations for that agent. The live channel available today is the Website Widget. WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger are shown as coming soon and are not live integrations yet.
Customize the widget so it matches your brand, then copy the embed snippet and paste it before the closing body tag on your site (or via your CMS). Publish and test the widget on a real page.
- Primary, header, button, and background colors
- Agent avatar and chat icon
- Welcome message
- Suggested questions visitors can tap
- Widget position (left, middle, or right)
- Copy snippet → paste on site → publish → verify
07
Work leads from the dashboard
When visitors share contact details or the agent captures a lead during a conversation, entries appear under Leads for that agent.
You can search leads, see contact fields and notes, export the current page to CSV, and open the related conversation so sales can continue with full context instead of a blank form submission.
- Name, email, phone, and notes when provided
- Link back to the source conversation
- Search and paginated list
- CSV export for the current page
08
Manage conversations and handoffs
Conversations lists threads for the agent: website widget chats, playground tests, and future channels when they go live. Filter by status (open or closed) and by provider, search the list, and open a thread to read the full message history.
Open conversations can be escalated when a human should take over. Escalated threads are visible in the list so your team can prioritize follow-up. Closed conversations stay available for history but are no longer active for new replies in the same thread.
09
Analytics, usage, and plans
Analytics gives a workspace-level view of activity so you can see how the agent is used over time. Usages shows how much of your plan capacity you have consumed (for example conversations and knowledge limits tied to Starter, Growth, Scale, or Enterprise).
Plans is where you review or change subscription. A 14-day free trial is available to start without a credit card; after that, limits follow the plan you choose.
010
Recommended path to go live
Treat 100xsale as a sales workflow, not a one-time install. Create the agent, ground it in approved knowledge, validate in Playground, embed the widget, then review leads and conversations every day your site is open.
- 1. Sign up and open your workspace
- 2. Create an agent with a clear name
- 3. Add website, text, and/or PDF knowledge
- 4. Select discovered pages and wait until training is ready
- 5. Test real buyer questions in Playground
- 6. Customize the Website Widget and copy the embed snippet
- 7. Publish the script on your site and verify the chat
- 8. Monitor Leads and Conversations; retrain knowledge when your business changes
